Immigration Attorney
Abbie is a licensed immigration attorney representing our clients in family-based applications, removal proceedings, and asylum-based application matters. She has a strong legal background in removal defense and has interned at the Portland Immigration Court, helping to draft legal opinions, and observed various Individual Hearings. Abbie has also assisted clients in preparing their asylum claims at Catholic Charities of Oregon. She has also worked at a top business immigration law firm working on unique work visa applications for local Oregon businesses. She is passionate about providing care-oriented service to our clients we represent.
Abbie attended Lewis & Clark Law School earning cum laude honors upon graduation and also joined the Lewis & Clark Law Review during her time in Portland. She also completed her Bachelor’s degree in International studies at George Fox University. During her spare time, Abbie and her partner enjoy spending time with their two pet cats, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
Immigration Attorney
Elizabeth is a Native Oregonian born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She is a licensed immigration attorney helping to represent our clients in family-based immigration matters, humanitarian cases including U visa, VAWA, waivers, and also represents our clients in removal proceedings in the Portland Immigration Court. Elizabeth has extensive experience in drafting court motions having previously worked for a civil litigation employment-based law firm in Salem, Oregon.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law where she was an Editor for the Oregon Law Review, and worked at the Public Law and Policy Research and Employment Law Research departments. She has also previously interned at the Snohomish County Legal Services and Office of the General Counsel of the University of Oregon. Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family and friends enjoying the many activities and restaurants in the local Portland area.
Immigration Attorney
Chandler is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and a licensed immigration attorney. She has practiced immigration law across the United States and has represented clients in removal proceedings before various U.S. Immigration Courts. She assists clients with complex waiver cases, family-based immigration cases, and responding to requests for evidence from USCIS.
Chandler is an advocate for equal opportunity and comes from a family of immigrants. She is fluent in Spanish and English and is a strong advocate for helping our clients attain legal status in the U.S. In her free time, Chandler loves traveling abroad and trying new foods, hiking with her dog, volleyball and playing her guitar. Chandler is also an avid pickleball player and has competed in international competitions around the world.
Immigration Paralegal / Adjustment of Status Specialist
Brigit assists our clients will family-based immigration matters, adjustment of status applications of all case types, and citizenship applications. Brigit graduated with her Paralegal Certification, completing her studies here in Portland, Oregon. Brigit has a strong interest in advocating for our clients, and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Immigration Legal Assistant / Consular Processing Specialist
Kate assists our clients with applying for immigrant visas through consular processing and nonimmigrant visas at U.S. consulates and embassies overseas. Kate was born and raised in Missoula, Montana and is a recent Lewis & Clark College Graduate, she majored in International Affairs and minored in History.
Immigration Legal Assistant / Asylum Docket Specialist
Leo oversees the asylum docket for our firm. He is bilingual in French, conversational in Spanish, and utilizes his educational background to research country conditions for the asylum seekers we represent. In his spare time, Leo writes for his local newspaper as a history columnist, enjoys cooking, biking, and frequenting the local Art Museum and Saturday markets.
Intake Specialist / Client Services
Julian assists our clients with family-based immigration from the beginning intake to the successful approval of their cases. Julian is also fluent in Spanish and English. He was born in Sacramento, California and later moved to Portland, Oregon with his family. He attended high school in Northeast Portland and joined the military in 2011 where he proudly served in the U.S. Army and U.S. National Guard for six years.
In his spare time, Julian enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his friends and family. As the son of an immigrant mother from Columbia, Julian understands the trials and tribulations that people go through in the immigration process.
Office Manager / U Visa Specialist
Lucy helps our firm with the efficient flow of operations as our Office Administrator. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She primarily helps our U visa applicants coordinate with the Immigration Attorneys to successfully adjudicate their applications with USCIS.
Lucy recently relocated from England to Portland, Oregon. She has taught English to students in Guadalajara, Mexico and has a strong interest in learning about people’s cultures and diverse experiences. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys hiking with her dog, yoga, and cooking.
Office Administrator / Legal Assistant
Joshly helps with all administrative procedures and tasks for our firm. She also focuses on assisting clients through their I-751 removal of conditions application, citizenship, and DACA renewal application processes.
Joshly has a strong background in client-centered services having worked extensively at local non-profits serving the Immigration community and minors in removal proceedings. She is bilingual in Spanish and passionate about helping our clients in the Portland community.
Miles overseeing the efficient flow of our daily operations between staff, attorneys and clients. He has a strong academic background having previously written for the Encyclopedia Britannica. Miles also taught English overseas and understands the importance of cultural differences and how it relates to effective legal representation. In his spare time, Miles and his partner enjoy the adventures and pasttimes offered locally in Portland, Oregon.
Legal Assistant
Natalia assists our clients with our marriage-based immigration adjustment of status cases from the beginning intake to the successful approval of their cases. She is fluent in Spanish and French. As a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, Natalia enjoys being back in the Pacific Northwest. She previously interned with our firm and plans to attend law school in the future
Harlin oversees our files and case management of incoming and outgoing mail. She helps us to maintain organization and filing procedures for our daily office operations and procedures. Harlin is also bilingual in Spanish and helps to communicate with our clients on upcoming appointments and interviews scheduled at USCIS as well as at the Immigration Court. Harlin enjoys spending time with her young son and enjoying the nature and outdoors here in the Northwest.
